  • J.A. Lacy

    J.A. Lacy

    President & CEO

    J.A. Lacy is President and CEO of LDI and is the fourth generation of the Lacy family to manage the company. His responsibilities include the daily operations of LDI and working with business unit managers to drive performance and value creation.

    J.A. previously served as President of FinishMaster, President of Tucker Rocky Canada and Vice President of J. Walter Thompson.  He sits on the boards of Citizens Energy Group and Essco Corporation, is a member in Gravity Ventures III and serves on the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and Central Indiana Community Foundation boards.  Past community involvement includes serving as Director for United Way, YMCA, Central Indiana Women’s Fund, and chairing the United Way’s Tocqueville Society.  J.A. was also named to the Indianapolis Business Journal list of Forty under Forty.

    J.A. earned his MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.

  • Bill Himebrook

    Bill Himebrook

    Vice President - Chief Financial Officer

    Bill Himebrook serves as Chief Financial Officer of LDI providing oversight for the accounting, financial reporting, taxes, treasury, and risk management functions. He works with the finance teams of LDI operating companies to evaluate operational investments to improve and accelerate performance.

    Bill joined LDI with more than 25 years of financial experience in a variety of areas including accounting, auditing financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis, and corporate development. He brings significant experience to LDI in managing large, enterprise-wide projects. He previously served as Vice President of Integration at WellPoint, where he led integration activities for over a decade.

    Bill is a CPA and began his accounting career at Price Waterhouse. He holds an accounting degree from Indiana University, where he also served as a basketball team manager under coach Bob Knight.

  • Jon Black

    Jon Black

    Corporate Controller & Treasurer

    Jon Black is the Corporate Controller and Treasurer of LDI. He manages financial planning and analysis, internal and external financial statements, internal audit, tax planning, and acquisition due diligence for LDI operating companies. He brings expertise in acquisition due diligence and integration, purchase accounting, complex valuation, financial modeling, technical accounting, and domestic and international tax planning.

    Jon has more than 17 years of experience as an accounting and finance professional. Previously, he served as Corporate Controller for Bell Industries and Division Controller at ADESA. He began his career in finance and accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

    Jon received his B.S. in accounting from Indiana University and earned his MBA in finance from Butler University.  He is a CPA and teaches accounting on an adjunct basis for Butler University.

  • John Martin

    John Martin

    Vice President - Corporate Development

    John Martin leads LDI’s acquisition and development activities as VP of Corporate Development. He joined LDI in 2013 and is responsible for initiating platform investment opportunities, structuring and negotiating transactions, supervising due diligence and supporting the strategic acquisition efforts of LDI operating companies.

    John has over ten years of M&A experience.  John previously worked at Mason Wells, where he supported the firm’s investment activities and worked with portfolio company management teams to achieve value creation objectives. He began his career in the investment banking group of Robert W. Baird & Co. focusing on buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory assignments.

    John earned his MBA from Indiana University and a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois.  He serves on the Board of KIPP Indy Public Schools.

  • Emily Krueger

    Emily Krueger

    Vice President - Administration

    As VP of Administration, Emily Krueger has a broad range of responsibilities including talent management, human resources, marketing/communications, and corporate governance. She joined LDI in 2013 as Chief of Staff and was charged with ensuring the execution of the company’s strategic priorities.

    Previously, she worked for U.S. Senator Richard G. Lugar and held Capitol Hill and campaign positions. She currently serves as the Board Chair of Timmy Global Health, a member of the CityWay YMCA Advisory Board, and a Mind Trust Education Champion. She is a past member of the Valparaiso University Alumni Association Board.

    Emily received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her BA from Valparaiso University. She is a graduate of the SKL®Leadership Series and a Fulbright recipient.

  • Marty Brown

    Marty Brown

    Manager - Business Intelligence

    Marty Brown joined LDI in 2015 as Manager of Business Intelligence.  He supports the strategic planning of LDI operating companies, leads data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts, and acts as an internal consultant to operating company management teams.

    Marty has over seven years of operational experience across strategy, marketing, and product management functions. He previously served as Vice President of Marketing at One Click Ventures, an eyewear-focused e-commerce company.  He was an early Product Manager at Zynga, where he specialized in analytics and experimentation for new product launches.  Marty began his career as a Business Analyst in Deloitte Consulting’s strategy and operations practice, where he served clients in the healthcare and retail industries.

    Marty earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Wabash College.  He serves on the Indianapolis Association of Wabash Men Board of Directors and coaches grade school football at Mother Theodore Catholic Academies.

  • Andre B. Lacy

    Andre B. Lacy

    Chairman of the Board, LDI, Ltd.

    Andre Lacy has served as Chairman of the Board since 1992 and is the former CEO of LDI (1983-2006). Under his leadership, LDI grew at a CAGR of 15 percent.

    Andre began his career in 1961 as an analyst at U.S. Corrugated-Fiber Box Company, the company from which LDI evolved. He later served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of U.S. Corrugated and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lacy Diversified Industries.

    Andre is active on corporate boards including Hulman & Company (Indianapolis Motor Speedway), and is Chairman of the Indiana State Fair Commission. Previous board experience includes Patterson Companies, Inc., Ethyl Corporation, Albemarle Corporation, Tredegar Corporation, First Colony Insurance Co., IPALCO, National Bank of Indianapolis, and Merchants National Bank.  He also served as the Chairman of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors.  

    Andre has held leadership positions in a number of civic organizations including Indianapolis Public Schools, Indianapolis 500 Festival Association, United Way, Economic Club of Indianapolis, and Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. 

    He has been honored with the following awards: Sagamore of the Wabash (3), E&Y’s Master Entrepreneur of the Year, and the Indiana Historical Society’s Living Legend.

    Andre holds an economics degree from Denison University.

  • Michael L. Smith

    Michael L. Smith

    Former EVP & CFO, Anthem/WellPoint

    Mike Smith served as EVP and CFO of Anthem, Inc. and its subsidiaries, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield – which merged with WellPoint – before his retirement in 2005.  Before joining Anthem, Mike served as Chairman, President and CEO of Mayflower Group, Inc., a worldwide relocation service, from 1989 to 1995.

    Mike serves as a director of several publicly owned and private companies including Envision Healthcare Corporation, Carestream Health, Inc., Vectren Corporation, Hulman & Company, and USI Inc. 

    He chairs the Eskenazi Health Foundation Board and serves on the Board of the Lumina Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of DePauw University. 

    Mike started his business career with Arthur Andersen after graduating from DePauw University.

    Partner, Bindley Capital Partners

    Keith Burks is a Partner with Bindley Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on healthcare services.  Previously, Keith served as Director and EVP of Bindley Western Industries, Inc. and President of Bindley Western Drug Company until its acquisition by Cardinal Health in 2001.

    Keith serves as Chairman of Concentrics Research, LCC and is on the boards of Guardian Pharmacy, LLC and Motorsport Aftermarket Group. He serves as Chairman of the Butler University Board of Trustees.  

    Keith is a CPA and attended Indiana University as an undergraduate before receiving his MBA at Butler University.

  • Kristin T. Sherman

    Kristin T. Sherman

    Chief Financial Officer, VMS BioMarketing

    Kristin T. Sherman is Chief Financial Officer for VMS BioMarketing, a healthcare marketing firm focused on improving patient outcomes.

    Prior to VMS, Sherman served as the Chief Financial Officer for several biotech firms including Calibrium, LLC until its acquisition by Novo Nordisk in 2015, and Marcadia Biotech which was purchased by Roche in 2010.  Sherman also served as the Treasurer and Vice President of Finance for Guidant Corporation during the sale of Guidant to Abbott and Boston Scientific.  She began her career in various finance positions with Eli Lilly and Company.

    Sherman earned her B.A. in Economics from DePauw University and her MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.  She serves as Treasurer of the Community Health Network Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit, Compliance and Finance Committee.

  • Robert N. Taylor

    Robert N. Taylor

    President & CEO, Do it Best Corp.

    Bob has more than 40 years of experience in hardware retail and distribution. In 2012, Bob was inducted into the hardware industry’s prestigious Home Channel Hall of Fame. He received the Charles G. Berwind Lifetime Achievement Award from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in 2015.

    Bob has held a variety of leadership positions within his local community, serving while in Virginia Beach as chair of the Virginia Beach Chamber of Commerce, Virginia Beach Vision, the local United Way campaign, and the Better Business Bureau. Bob continued his civic and charitable activities in Fort Wayne with involvement locally on Corporate Council, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, the Regional Chamber and United Way. He also chaired the Fort Wayne Downtown Blueprint Plus and Baseball Plus committees and served for nine years on the national board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Bob is also a past Chairman of the National Association of Wholesalers & Distributors.

    Bob most recently served as Chairman of the Foellinger Foundation, on the Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. Board, as an emeritus director on the Indiana State Chamber Board and was appointed by Governor Daniels and again by Governor Pence to the board of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. In addition, Bob served on the Advisory Board for Old National Bank.

  • Andy Graves

    Andy Graves

    Chief Executive Officer, MAG

    Andy Graves joined MAG as Chief Executive Officer in January 2015, bringing a background in industrial sales and manufacturing, financial services, international, and brand management experience.  Andy is responsible for leading the next phase of integration following the 2014 merger of Tucker Rocky/Biker’s Choice and MAG and driving the long-term strategy of the combined company.

    Most recently Andy served as President of the Brunswick Company’s boat group, which included market-leading brands such as Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and Lund. At Brunswick, Andy successfully integrated major acquisitions to expand the group’s brand portfolio and navigated the company through the 2009 collapse of the boat market.

    Prior to joining Brunswick, Andy was President of Dresser Flow Solutions of Dresser, Inc., as well as President and COO for Federal Signal Corporation. He has also held positions with CNH Global, N.V. and FMC Corporation.

    Andy graduated from Purdue University with a degree in metallurgical engineering and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.

  • Charlie Hornecker

    Charlie Hornecker

    President & CEO, OIA Global

    Charlie Hornecker is President and CEO of OIA Global and brings extensive understanding and experience in the logistics industry.

    Before joining OIA, Charlie worked with a private equity group as President of Market Transport Services. Within three years, Charlie helped to more than triple revenue through acquisitions and organic growth, as well as reposition the company from a truck load carrier operating on the West Coast into a leading single source logistics provider operating across North America.

    Charlie also served as Senior Vice President (COO) of Triton Aviation Services Limited and held various executive positions with Triton Container International Limited.

    Charlie has an economics degree from the University of Oregon and earned his MBA from Golden Gate University.

    President & CEO, UltiMed

    Jim Erickson is President and CEO of UltiMed, where he is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the company.

    Prior to joining UltiMed, Jim held positions at CapitalSource, GE Capital, Divine InterVentures and Ernst & Young. Jim has a broad background in corporate investments, LBOs, venture capital, turnaround consulting, and restructuring in a variety of industries.

    Jim earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
